Year 10 student, Jake Myers, has achieved yet
another Show Jumping win. This time it was with his
young 7 year old, Macuta, achieving first place in his
category at South View Equestrian, in Cheshire. This
qualifies him for the Royal International Horse show at
Hickstead. Jake has only had Macuta for a month and
had only jumped these tracks once before, so he was
very pleased indeed with this result.
The original 68 starters were initially reduced to 24, with
8 tackling a tense jump-off over a sizable track. Jake
and Mac returned a clear round. Jake said, “This is the
biggest track he’s jumped, but he’s so athletic he
made it feel easy, he loves to jump.”
