Welcome to Ivybridge Community College
College News 1-6 It is with great delight that I share with you this very special edition of the
College Echo, as this year marks the Jubilee Celebration of 60 years of
Governors’ News 7 Ivybridge Community College. A taste of some of these many changes
can be seen in the College Echo and on our website. It is fascinating to
Science 8 see the growth of the College’s physical site, as well as recognising the
transformation of the educational landscape over this period and the
English and Mathematics 9 impact it has on our students’ lives.
Learning Resource Centre 10 - 11 Yet again, this term I am extremely proud of the continued wealth of
opportunities that are available for our students, as well as the
Geography 12 extraordinary achievements and endeavours which are showcased
here.

As this term closes I wish to acknowledge the wonderful staff who will be
Jubilee Centre Insert leaving, who have given so many years of talent and commitment to
the College and the world of education, and I wish them the very best
BTEC 15 of luck in their promotions, travels and exciting adventures, that some
intend to pursue.

Finally, I hope that you enjoy reading this edition as much as I have, and
Design Technology 18 may I take this opportunity to wish all our community a happy and safe
summer holidays and greatly look forward to welcoming our students on
