U15 Girls’ Football Team makes College History

The Ivybridge U15 Girls’ Football team travelled to Brentwood, Essex in March to play Shenfield School in the
National Cup Quarter Final and came away from Essex with a fine 1-0 win courtesy of a goal in the sixtieth
minute. The Girls have made College Football history in being the first Girls’ 11-a-side team to reach a National
Semi Final.

                                                                                   In March, the Boys’ U15 Football Team qualified for
                                                                                   the ESFA National Schools Cup Semi-Final after an
                                                                                   outstanding 8-1 victory at home against
                                                                                   Dorothy Stringer School from Brighton.

FUTSAL Regional Winners

The College’s U15 Boys’ and Girls’ FUTSAL Teams both won through
to the National FUTSAL semi-finals in Birmingham. Both teams beat
the regional winners from the North, East, South and West of the
county to represent Devon in the National Semi-Finals.

In February, the U13 Boys' FUTSAL Team completed a
hat-trick of Ivybridge teams representing the South West
at the National FUTSAL Semi-Final in March.
